Distance Covered:

Wind pretty iffy & its usual gusty self for down here, but 1st day of wind after 6 days of nothing, so had to be worth the effort!

However, was pretty much underpowered the whole time - this being the biggest sail I brought with me.

I'd forgotten how bizarre the wind is here - it's almost impossible to get back to the beach by the lagoon. The wind always seems to make you bear away from anything remotely resembling land - whichever direction you're heading in!

Wind died about 16:30, leaving me with a long swim back in with my kit. No wonder I don't like venturing too far from the shore here!
